For sale is a double vinyl album by The Beach Boys titled "Endless Summer", originally released in 1974 by Capitol Records with a gate-fold presentation, then reissued by the RCA Music Service under license, as indicated by R-223559 on the labels and inside the gate-fold and on the bottom of the back cover. This release has the original orange labels with "Capitol" in greenish letters at the bottom of the labels, used by Capitol Records between 1972- 78. The two disc are auto-coupled, meaning Side One and Side Four are on Disc One and Side Two and Side Three are on Disc Two. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is machine stamped "I", followed by the matrix numbers A-1/B-4/C-2/D-2, signifying that early stampers were used to make this record at RCA Records' pressing plant, located in Indianapolis, Indiana. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought this record set used, professionally cleaned them on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put them into two MFSL archival inner sleeves. This preserves the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the record. There are no original inner sleeves with this listing. There is no poster with this listing. The cover is graded as Near Mint. The spine is Near Mint. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint, with surfaces that are shiny and bright, without any sleeve marks, surface scratches, scuffs or spindle marks on the labels. I'm play grading them as Near Mint.  All the records play all the way through without lock-ups, surface noise, pops or skips from start to finish.  It's been played only on Audiophile equipment since I've owned it and still has a lot of life yet. This is the best copy of this hard to find record reissue, that I have ever seen or heard and you would be hard pressed to find an original Indianapolis Club pressing like this one! This would make a great addition to anyone's collection.  I have a lot more Rock and Roll records, as well as albums of all different genres, listed in my Ebay store. Please take a look. They're predominately Near Mint. Thank you for viewing my listing.    I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative. I offer discounts for multiple sales. Photos are of the actual item for sale, not a stock photo. Please review all descriptions and photos because I do not accept returns. Thank you for looking!
