This is the new 2021 release of this HEAVY AF album. Owning multiple pressings of each of the Deftones’ albums on vinyl, I can confidently say that this is one of their most well made/pressed records.

Not only does this version completely blow the cd version away (extremely noticeable) but the actual pressing is amazing. The vinyl plays quieter than I can remember a Deftones record sounding. Just a minor crackle here and there which went away after a quick cleaning. It really plays better than most metal albums I listen too. Sounds great.

Back to the a/b comparison to cd..an obvious improvement. But having done the same with the white vinyl vs. this new pressing, it could just be the quieter vinyl but this new pressing has more dynamics than the white version does.

This is as close as non-audiophile releases get to sounding like audiophile releases.
