Monkees LP The Monkees Present in Shrink

(Hopefully not in the same way that baboons present.  Sorry, Mickey…it had to be said!)

Vinyl--- VG+/VG.  I have saved this LP in my collection for decades, looking for a NM copy of the vinyl to replace this one.  Never found it, so if you have a NM copy of this LP, you can now have a sweet cover to go with this rare LP.

Cover--- Not pristine, but man, is it nice.  The shrinkwrap did an admirable job over the last 5 decades.  There is dirtwear to both sides, but if you place your hand inside the shrink and gently pull it away from the cover, you can see that the dirtwear is exclusively restricted to the shrink.  All four corners have slight loss of slick, as well as the length of the mouth of the LP. 

Labels--- VG+/VG. Some wear. See photos. Side 2 label is not as good as Side 1.

Inner Sleeve--- Original sleeve was a generic white sleeve, which is included.  But for collectors, I have included an original company Colgems sleeve.  Top corner has a tear.  See photos.

Now that the Rhino and Sundazed labels have flooded the market with reissues of this scarce Monkees title, the Colgems ones have become harder and harder to find at all.

Note:  All LP’s ship outside of their album covers in order not to damage the covers during shipment.

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!) 

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)
