Title: Lenny Bruce Is Out Again CONDITION: Record: Labels are clean. Side-B label has a light spindle hole scratch on it that's hard to see since of the light color of the label. Side-A is VG++ and side-B is VG+ to VG++. Pretty nice disc. Sleeve: VG condition with overall wear as you can see. Back is pretty clean with light ageing and a stain on the right side. The front has ring wear and an old price sticker stain. Slight seam split at bottom center. 1-1/2" seam split at the top right corner at the opening. Label: Philles 4010 (mono) Overall Condition: Funky cover, nice disc. Description: If you have a nice cover with a beat up record, then this auction is for you. These used to be pretty common around SoCal because of the Phil Spector connection. But you just don't see these much anymore. I've had this a long time waiting for a nice cover, but that's just not going to happen in 2021. I was selling at a record meet many years ago when I saw a lady looking through my stuff with a big smile on her face. She was holding a really nice copy of this Lp in her hand. I asked her if she knew who Lenny Bruce was. I just figured she thought the cover was funny. She said she did indeed know who he was since her father, Seymour Fried, was the first lawyer, in a very LONG list of attorneys, Lenny thanked on the back of the Lp. Needless to say, she bought the Lp for her father. Not too many artists thank their lawyers on their Lp covers for helping them. Only Lenny would do that, of course.
