Eddie Cochran - C'mon Everybody

(London RE-U 1214 UK 7" EP 1958)

This is a very early 1960's UK 7" EP pressing. It has a front laminated flipback picture sleeve.This has a printing date printed on the rear sleeve - above the bottom flipback (McN 9.61). This means that this EP sleeve was printed in September 1961. The record has mauve & silver labels which have a 4 pronged centre. The record has -1C/ -1C matrix stampers. A classic late 1950's Rock 'n' Roll UK EP.


Sleeve: There is a light 4 cm crease that goes through the sleeve to a varying degree. This is more noticeable on the front sleeve and not that noticeable on the rear sleeve. This crease has also caused some light laminate lifting on the front in that area (see photo). Otherwise, there is a tiny 0.3 cm hairline black mark on the rear sleeve - near the top opening. There is some light or very mild ringwear on some areas. There are no seam splits. overall, a very reasonable copy. Very Good++ condition

Vinyl: Sadly, this is a heavily played copy. There are some mild, moderate to more considerable sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are no nasty scratches. Good condition. The labels are in Very Good+ condition & show mild spindle wear only.

I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays Very Good+ overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in the background to a varying degree. This is only really noticeable in the quieter places. The music still shines through. There are no noticeable clicks or pops. Overall, a very decent audio copy.

I shall place the vinyl into a separate plain paper or polythene sleeve. This will protect the original sleeve from any damage during transit.
