The Rolling Stones - Sticky Fingers

This is a UK original LP pressing. It has a heavyweight matt sleeve which has a movable zip on the front. The zip has a rounded bottom. There is also a die-cut buckle area on the front. There is an inner "underpants" part of the cover too. It has its original picture/ information insert. This is printed on paper. It has its original company plain paper inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has A-4/ B-4 matrix stampers. "Rolling Stones Records" and "TML" are etched in the dead wax on both sides. A genuine 1971 UK original pressing.


Sleeve: There is a 5 cm tear, above the zip, on the die-cut belt buckle area (see photo). There is only a very small portion of this area (1 cm) that is still attached. Therefore, this piece of the sleeve is quite fragile & could be quite easily torn. It could, however, be very carefully repaired if desired - if, of course, you have the know-how.

Otherwise, there is also some light, mild or very mild creasing at the left hand of the zip area. This is not too noticeable. There is light, mild or more moderate rubbing wear to the front part of the bottom edges. There is light, mild or very minor rubbing wear to the corner tips. There are a couple of light creases on the rear sleeve. There is a small stain on the rear sleeve too. Overall, Very Good minus condition

Vinyl: Firstly, there is a light to very mild warp. It only really notices when playing Side 1. It doesn't affect playback at all. Otherwise, there are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can only be seen under a strong light. The inner sleeve, over time, has left some light, mild or very mild dull surface marks on some areas. There is a small area of more moderate rubbing wear on one side. There are about 4 light surface hairline marks. These measure from 1 cm to 5 cm in length. Overall, Very Good minus condition. The labels are in Excellent+ condition & show minimal spindle wear only. The company paper inner sleeve is in Very Good condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear & creasing. There is more moderate fading. There are no seam splits.

The picture/ information insert is in Near Excellent condition. There are some light or very minor handling creases/ marks on a few areas.

I have fully play tested this LP. It plays Very Good overall & Very Good+ in some places. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in the background to a varying degree. This is only really notices in the quieter places. It never overpowers the music.
