I'm not exactly sure what these are, as the Shaw Brothers focused on film production. But they seem to be records for a film soundtrack (The Love Eterne). There is also a booklet with this lot, which appears to be a songbook for the film. I unfortunately do not read Mandarin or Cantonese, so I cannot translate them.
The Love Eterne, a 1963 Hong Kong musical film of the Huangmei opera genre directed by Li Han Hsiang. The story tells of the doomed romance between the male Liang Shanbo (portrayed by actress Ivy Ling Po, who also sang the character's vocals) and the cross-dressed female Zhu Yingtai (Betty Loh Ti, with singing dubbed by Tsin Ting). The film won six awards at the 2nd Golden Horse Awards in Taiwan, including Best Picture. It was also selected as Hong Kong's entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 36th Academy Awards, but was not accepted as a nominee. (Years later Quentin Tarantino sure loved the Shaw Brothers movies!) See imdb.com/title/tt0057248 or en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Love_Eterne for more information.
The lot consists of one booklet and three 10-inch LP albums; the records have their covers and original plastic sleeving; one has liner notes (see last combined photo). Some of the booklet has been written on (someone was translating it into English). They are in "really great" condition IMHO; sorry but I cannot grade them correctly so I won't even try.
One record is translucent red, one is translucent yellow, and the third is translucent yellow and brown (it's almost a burnt effect, very psychadelic).
