Hello, you are bidding on a “lot” of 4 used stereo lps, mostly from Harry Partch and John Cage.  The fourth lp is New Music composed by contemporaries of Partch & Cage.

LPs include:

01) Harry Partch / Delusion Of The Fury 3 LP box set. (Columbia)

 A Ritual of Dream & Delusion. Ensemble of unique instruments conducted by Danlee Mitchell.  The outside of the box set says “2 Record Set.”  This refers to “Delusion Of The Fury.”  The third lp is “The Instruments of Harry Partch.”  Includes liner notes and booklet.  The booklet shows pictures of the instruments developed by Harry Partch.

02) Harry Partch / Petals / Gate 5 Ensemble: (CRI – Composers Recordings Inc.)

Selections include: Harry Partch and On the Seventh Day / Petals Fell In Petaluma.

03) Harry Partch – John Cage -  (1978)(Recorded Anthology of American Music – New World Records). Side I is Harry Partch playing 9 selections in stereo.  Side II is John Cage playing 2 selections in mono. 

04) SOUNDS OF NEW MUSIC – (Science Series – Folkway Records) John Cage appears on one track.  Varied musicians play on other tracks creating new music. Includes inside information sheet on the artists & how they performed their tracks.

I’ve had these lps for a long time, taking extremely good care of these lps, keeping them heat, moisture, etc.

Condition of Covers & LPs:

01) Delusion Of The Fury:  Cover: Box is in near perfect condition, no tears, etc.  LPs: (3) are in near perfect condition also, with no scuffs, no scratches, no issues.

02) PETALS / Gate 5 Ensemble: Cover: in excellent shape, no cut-outs, no seam splits, no issues.  LP: no scratches, no scuffs, no skip, no issues.

03) HARRY PARTCH & JOHN CAGE:  Cover: gatefold  cover. Previously a library close-out.  I bought this in 1993 when the library sold all of their lps.  Has a few old library stickers on cover & record label.  Protected in heavy plastic.  LP: no scratches, no scuffs, no skip, no issues.

04) SOUNDS OF NEW MUSIC: Previously a library close-out.  I bought this in 1993 when the library sold all of their lps.  Somehow the original cover got destroyed & the library came up with a generic cover.  It lists the artists & songs.  LP: in gorgeous shape despite one very light hairline scratch on one side.

As a bonus included are digital versions taken from these lps.  You can’t go wrong.

Shipping: after the auction, I will mail you an invoice.  Buyers in the USA have an option of “cheaper/slower MEDIA MAIL at $6.00 or faster/more expensive FIRST CLASS at $30.00.  The rate for Canada is $45.00 and the rate for Europe, Australia, South America and Africa is $65.00.  I ship to most places with the exception of Israel & Middle East.  US Media Mail can take anywhere from 3 to 5 weeks for delivery, just to let you know not to be in a hurry for it.  APO/FPO is not eligible for Media and is sent First Class.
