Up for bid is my copy of the 1982 David Bowie and Bing Crosby 45 rpm single of Peace On Earth/Little Drummer Boy b/w Fantastic Voyage, which is a Bowie song. This is the Japanese issue bearing catalog number RPS-97.
The vinyl is in almost perfect condition and the RCA paper sleeve and picture sleeve are in good condition.
The song was originally recorded, along with a video, in 1977 for a Bing Crosby Christmas special that year,”Merrie Old Christmas” which was shot in England. At the time of the recording, the single was unavailable until RCA released one in November of 1982. This duet was one of Crosby’s final recordings as he passed away in October of 1977.
