Collectors, here is an amazing record, Victor Orthophonic 10 inch #20741. On the "A" side, the "Happiness Boys", Ernest Hare and Billy Jones, perform the George M. Cohan tune "When Lindy Comes Home", with Dave Kaplan at the piano. On the "B" side, the popular Johnny Marvin sings "In a Shady Nook by a Babbling Brook", with guitars. The record was released in July 1927. "Lindy" is a cute song, well performed, apparently written for the Hearst papers, per the label. The famous Lindy songs are "Lucky Lindy" and "Lindbergh, the Eagle of the USA", so this one is pretty obscure. Hard to find record 95 years after issuance, if this interests you do not pass it up, go for it!!!
