Beatles 10-Lot LP’s Most First Pressings Varying Conditions

Relisted due to non-payment and no answers to my emails from

All of these albums were graded visually only.  I can’t test-play records at the minute, so please account for surface noise likely being present, as well as the occasional pop or skip.

Two LP’s, “A Hard Day’s Night” and “Beatles ‘65” are in poor condition.  The others range from VG to EX/ NM.

Meet the Beatles 1st Press MONO Columbia

Vinyl--- VG. Lots of shine, lots of light scratches.

Plates--- G14/ F11

Cover--- VG. No splits, moderate wear.

Labels--- VG++. Nice! Concentric ring is Columbia’s.

Capitol Inner Sleeve--- Yes. Has splits.

RIAA: 6

Beatles’ Second Album 1st Press MONO Columbia

Vinyl--- Strong VG.  Mostly shine, several light, short hairlines.

Plates--- G2/ F3.  Curiously, the dead wax carries both the older LA five-pointed star AND the Scranton “IAM” triangle on both sides.  Never seen that before.

Cover--- VG-.  Top and bottom has 4” splits, cover is dirty.

Labels--- VG+. Has a few spindle marks.  No running times on the first two tracks Side 2.  Concentric ring is Columbia’s.

Capitol Inner Sleeve--- Generic white inner.

RIAA: None.

A Hard Day’s Night 1st Press MONO RCA

Vinyl--- Poor.  Included here for the rare RCA-style labels.

Plates--- 1A/ 1  Machine-stamped “R” for “RCA.”

Cover--- Poor.  Has inspection stamp on back.

Labels--- VG-.  Rare RCA labels have different text layout, as well as their own catalogue number not found on other pressings. “RR4M 0475”

UA Inner Sleeve--- Has a later 60’s UA sleeve, split down one side.

RIAA: N/A.

Beatles ’65 1st Press MONO Canadian

Vinyl--- Poor.  These two LP’s are the worst in the lot.

Plates--- H5/ J6

Cover--- Poor.

Labels--- Poor.

Capitol Inner Sleeve--- Generic provided.

RIAA: N/A.

Rubber Soul 1st Press MONO Decca

Vinyl--- VG+. VERY nice shine, random needle marks very light on each side.  85% new shine!

Plates--- T6G/ T4G. I can’t test-play, but my notes say that Decca pressings edited out the false start on “I’m Looking Through You.”

Cover--- Poor. Has splits and writing on back cover.

Labels--- VG. Tear and tape on Side 1, name written in ballpoint on both sides.  Label doesn’t list “The Beatles,” making this a first pressing. Concentric ring is Decca’s.

Capitol Inner Sleeve--- Yes. Olive green inner sleeve has large splits.

RIAA: 2

Revolver 1st Pressing MONO

Vinyl--- VG.  Lots of shine, several light needle marks, nothing you can feel.

Plates--- F3/ F3 Scranton copy.  Contains a few alternate mixes than the stereo pressing.

Cover--- VG-.  Cover looks really good, large bottom seam split, small top seam split.

Labels--- EX/ NM.

Capitol Inner Sleeve--- Generic white sleeve provided.

RIAA: None.

Yesterday…and Today 1st Press MONO Not a Butcher

Vinyl--- Strong VG, some would grade it VG+.

Plates--- F1/ G2. Scranton copy.

Cover--- Nice VG.  No splits, name written in ballpoint, moderate dirtwear.

Labels--- NM.

Capitol Inner Sleeve--- Yes.  Yellow Capitol inner sleeve provided, has small splits.

RIAA: 3

Sgt. Pepper 1969 Press “Subsidiary of…”

Vinyl--- VG+.  Beautiful vinyl, just a very few light hairlines per side.

Plates--- W9/ W7 Jacksonville copy.

Cover--- VG.  Looks nice, bottom seam completely split.  Initials on front cover.  Moderate ringwear to the back cover.  NO INSERT IS PRESENT.

Labels--- NM/ NM.

Capitol Inner Sleeve--- 1969 pressing issued with a generic white sleeve with no die-cut holes for the labels.  Present with one split seam.

RIAA: N/A.

Magical Mystery Tour 1st Pressing Stereo

Vinyl--- VG++/ NM.  GOOD-looking vinyl!  Looks almost new, not quite.

Plates--- B12/ A11.  Jacksonville copy.

Cover--- VG+. No splits, book detached. East coast cover has “No, You’re Not” in block letters, inside front panel, making this cover a first.

Labels--- NM/ VG++.

Capitol Inner Sleeve--- Jacksonville pressing issued with a generic white sleeve with no die-cut holes for the labels.  Present, no split seams.

RIAA: N/A.

White Album 1st Pressing German Top-Loader #415417

Vinyl--- All four sides VG.  Moderate amount of light scratches, none that can be felt, will probably play back with surface noise.

Plates--- Pressed from the British plates.  YEX-709/ YEX-710/ YEX-711/ YEX-712, A1/ B1/ A1/ B1.

Cover--- VG. Full glossy inside and out.  No splits.  Has moderate dirtwear and a tiny blotch on the back cover.  Number on the front cover is 415417.

Labels--- EX.  Very light spindle marks.

Inner Sleeve--- Germany did not issue theirs with the black inners.  These are white generics with plastic film liners and die-cut holes for the labels on one side.  Solid on the other side.

RIAA: N/A.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

Note:  All LP’s ship outside of their album covers in order not to damage the covers during shipment.

CAUTION!  There has been a startling increase in bidders canceling their bids.  A word to the wise, I have started blocking any and all bidders who retract their bids regardless of the reason.

Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
