Beatles LP Revolver Black Rainbow RECORD CLUB LP VERY NICE!

READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

So with that said…

Vinyl--- VG++ VISUAL GRADING, both sides.  Plays back with surface noise.

Plates--- “8”2576 on both sides, makes this copy pressed from the Record Club plates.

Cover--- Remarkably good! Anyone familiar with the record club covers knows that they were constructed from lousy, over-recycled cardboard.  The top and bottom seams are usually significantly split when you find one.  This cover has a half-inch split at the bottom right seam, and that’s it.  Spine is muscular strong, too!

The first covers with the black rainbow labels were issued in covers that had a white border, and three black vertical lines to the top left corner.  The later green target labels were issued in covers with the opposite.  Black border with white stripes.  These original covers are too hard to find at all.

This one is clean, both sides.  NO ringwear or dirtwear!  The ST-8-2576, designating the record club catalogue number appears on both the front and back covers in the borders.

Labels--- NM, both sides.

Capitol Inner Sleeve--- Record club releases were issued with the white inner sleeve with no die-cut holes for the labels to show.  This one is nice and flat, one-inch split to the bottom center seam.  A generic white inner sleeve will be provided, so as to protect your original inner sleeve en route to you.

RIAA: 16.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)
