For sale is a vinyl record by Jose Luis Rodriguez (El Puma) titled "Silencio" , originally released in 1988 by Mercury Records, made and distributed in Mexico by PolyGram Discos S.A. de C.V. then imported into the United States. I bought this record used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 and immediately put it into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. Doing this preserves the integrity of the vinyl and any original insert(s) or inner sleeve(s) that may have come with the release. There is no original inner sleeve with this listing. The cover, which is still in its original shrink wrap, is graded as Near Mint. The spine is Near Mint. The Vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint, with surfaces that are shiny and bright, in a like-new condition, without any surface scratches, smudges, scuffs or spindle marks on the labels. I'm play grading this album as Near Mint Minus because of occasional super low levels of surface noise, predominately in the first few seconds during the beginnings of both Side One and Side Two. It plays all the way through without any skips, lock-ups or pops from start to finish. This is the best copy of this very rare album that I have ever seen or heard, and you would be hard pressed to find another one in this condition.
