The super-mysterious, anonymous combo BACKGROUNDS only 45 (originally issued in February '67 on the Cenco label) has long been held in high regard, even prior to its inclusion on the 2nd volume of Fuzz Flaykes & Shakes back in 1999. In the intervening 20+ years, NO INFO has come to light regarding these bods, so all we have is the music. But WHAT a side!! Killer fuzz 'n' feedback, dramatic vocals, muscular production...it's ALL there!

On the flip, the talents of young French upstart Achille Brunet are finally captured on 7" vinyl!
