TOMMY McCOOK Instrumental LP on the Justice label from 1977 (JUS LP 07).
founding member of The Skatalites.
this is a nice album of gentle sax-led Dubs.
record has been cleaned on an Okki Nokki and play tested in full.
it has a very (very) slight wobble on the turntable - not a warp, it's just not 100% true.
both sides have hairlines and various surface marks / handling marks.
no deep or heavy scratches though.
i would visually grade a record in this condition as GOOD PLUS.
Side One:
there's one brief skip near to the start of The Champion Shuffle.
there's a bit of surface noise between tracks and the odd pop across the side.
Side Two:
again, some surface noise between tracks and the odd low pop.
no skips on this side.
it's not a bad listen overall. i'd say that it's a low VG audio-wise.
the white sleeve is fairly grubby and worn with various faults that i've highlighted (see pics).
i would grade it as FAIR.
i'm listing one more 70s Reggae album this week...
