KEITH HUDSON Torch Of Freedom LP from 1975 on the Atra label (Atra - LP 1001).
this album was also released again in 1975 with a different cover.
record has been cleaned on an Okki Nokki and play tested in full.
it has a slight wobble on the turntable - not a full on warp or anything, it's just not 100% true.
like many Reggae records from this era it's been played and enjoyed.
both sides have lots of fine hairlines and light surface marks. no really heavy or feelable scratches though.
i would visually grade a record in this condition as GOOD PLUS.
Side A:
there's some low surface noise plus some low pops but it's definitely more noticeable during the first track, Lost All Sense Of Direction. it does settle down after that however.
there's some low surface noise during the rest of the side but nothing that is too distracting.
audio-wise, i'd say that it's more like a low VG overall.
Side B:
no real issues during this side. there's one or two low pops plus a bit of occasional low surface noise.
it plays better than Side A, i'd also grade this side as VG audio-wise.
the sleeve has shelf wear and corner wear plus handling wear at the opening.
the white back cover is a bit grubby and worn. it looks like it's been exposed to some moisture as it's slightly rippled.
the seams are strong and there is no writing.
i would grade the sleeve as GOOD.
so, not the best copy out there but a bit better than some Reggae albums that turn up.
i'm listing one more 70s Reggae album this week...
