Iconic Million Dollar Quartet recordings featuring Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley. Elvis was visiting Sam Phillips and Marion Keisker at the Sun studios, at the height of his fame in December 1956. Carl Perkins was also in the studio that day, recording 'Matchbox' with Jerry Lee Lewis playing piano on the sessions. The complete recordings are available on CD, but this was a very early release of the session and a very nice, collectible record. The album is nowhere near perfect, (mint) but it has been looked after by myself since purchasing new. I doubt it's been played more than a couple of times, (if that). Includes sleeve notes by Adam Komorowski from New Kommotion magazine. But please have a good look at the photos before buying. I've tried to provide as accurate a description as I can.
