GRADING GUIDE
All records are played before being graded. Vinyl is graded first, followed by the sleeve.
(M) MINT: The disc is in perfect, unplayed condition. The cover is in perfect, factory-fresh condition.
(N/M) NEAR MINT: The disc isn't new, but the playing surfaces are near-perfect and show almost no signs of wear when studied under direct light. It sounds as good as it did when brand new. The labels are close to perfect, with no more than the lightest ‘spindle’ marks around the hole. The cover isn't new, but shows no signs of wear.
(EX) EXCELLENT: The disc shows signs of having been played, but there are barely any marks or surface noise, and the labels show only light signs of use. The cover has slight imperfections such as mild creasing, but no splits, writing, or obvious damage.
(VG+) VERY GOOD PLUS: The disc has been played a number of times but has been well looked after, showing only light marks. There may be light surface noise on intro. The labels might show slightly heavier signs of wear but are not damaged. The cover has noticeable faults, such as light creases and ringwear, but nothing major.
(VG) VERY GOOD: The disc has been played many times and has obvious surface marks. There will be light surface noise, but no major problems with sound quality. The labels may have writing, sticker marks etc. The cover has obvious wear, such as split seams, writing or a cut corner, but remains presentable.
(F) FAIR: The disc has serious marks that cause noticeable surface noise. The stylus might stick or skip. The cover has heavy creases, scuffs, tears, split seams, writing etc.
(P) POOR: The disc is badly damaged and will have serious noticeable, feelable marks and scratches that will heavily affect play. The cover is badly damaged.
(G) GENERIC: The cover is not unique to this release and can easily be substituted or replaced.
