Jimi Hendrix Experience Are You Experienced 1967 Pressing Still Sealed. I have searched Discogs exhaustively and there are no Stereo pressings with a 5 on the back of the jacket. The only pressing with a 5 is the 1967 Terre Haute Mono pressing. The 5 stands for Modern Album which is the name of the factory where the jacket was manufactured. By all appearances this is a 1967 pressing and it would stand to reason that the jacket was made by Modern Album around the same time they made the mono jackets, since that is the only time in any of the pressings going forward to 1974 has a 5 on the back. There is a 2-3” break in the seal at the opening but other than that it is fully sealed. Weighs 246 grams. Tri-tone labels are what you should find upon opening this record (if that’s your plan).
