Victor 12" 78 RPM Red Seal Record #88049 "My Ideal" Enrico Caruso 1907!
Collectors, here is an amazing disc, Victor Red Seal #88049. The one and only Enrico Caruso sings the Tosti song "My Ideal", with orchestra. This was recorded on December 30, 1906, and Victor released the record in March 1907. Beautiful melodies and dramatic singing, very enjoyable listen. The back sticker says the record cost $3, a good day's wages back then, and is dated July 1, 1906. The record plays well with fairly limited surface noise. Super early Caruso, very scarce, if this is what you like, do not pass it up!
