Originally released in 1967 in Germany and Denmark only, The Creation's only 60s LP is a triumph from start to finish, including probably their best-known side, "Painter Man", a big late 70s hit for none other than Boney M!!
One of the great "bands that should've been big", well...they WERE big for a while in Germany, but the record-buying public in the UK didn't really respond, sadly. Dynamite songwriting, muscular production from Shel Talmy, pioneering guitar work from Eddie Phillips (think Jimmy Page was the first to play his guitar with a violin bow? Think again!)...it's all here, in glorious MONO!
