Collectors, here's a great record, Victor Monarch announced 10 inch one-side record #1426. Harry MacDonough sings the hymn "My Jesus as Thou Wilt", with piano. Nice rendition of the hymn, very enjoyable listen. The record plays surprisingly well with not much surface noise. The "Collector's Guide to Victor Records" says records with this label style were issued between February 1902 and July 1902! Victor was incorporated in 1901, and started issuing 10 inch records in October 1901. At this time, cylinder records were the dominant format. This record is INCREDIBLY rare, possibly the only survivor of this issue, 120+ years later! Worth far more than my buy it now price, go for it!
