The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Lot of 9 UK original Track 7" Singles

This is a great collection of 9 UK original 7" Singles. They are on the "Track" and "Polydor" labels. They span the years 1966-1973. Playback is very nice overall. There are some less common singles in this lot. I have listed & graded them individually below:


1. Hey Joe/ Stone Free (Polydor 56139 UK 7" 1966)

This is a UK original Mono 7" pressing. It has smooth red "Polydor" labels which have a 3 pronged centre. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has 1st press A-1/ B-1 matrix stampers. It comes with its original "Polydor" company paper sleeve.

Vinyl: There are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can only be seen under a strong light. There are about 5 or 6 light surface hairline marks. These measure from 1 cm to 4 cm in length. Very Good condition. The labels are in Very Good++ condition & show light or very mild spindle wear. There is some very minor foxing on one label. This hardly notices under a strong light. The company paper sleeve is in Very Good condition. There is a 4 cm seam split at the centre of one side. Otherwise, there is some light, mild or very mild ringwear & creasing.

I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays Very Good to Very Good+ overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places.


2. Purple Haze/ 51st Anniversary (Track 604001 UK 7" 1967)

This is a UK original 7" pressing. It has smooth white & black "Track" labels which have a 3 pronged centre. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has 1st press A-1/ B-1 matrix stampers. It comes with its original company plain paper sleeve. Only the very 1st UK pressing came with white Track labels.

Vinyl: There are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can only be seen under a strong light. There is one light, but quite long, 7 cm surface hairline mark on the B-side. There is a 2.5 cm and 1 cm surface hairline mark on the A-side. Overall, A strong Very Good condition. The labels are in Excellent+ condition & show light or very mild spindle wear only. The company plain paper sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits.

I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays Very Good to Very good+ overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places.


3. Purple Haze/ 51st Anniversary (Track 604001 UK 7" 1967)

This is a UK original 7" pressing. It has smooth black & silver "Track" labels which have a 3 pronged centre. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has 1st press A-1/ B-1 matrix stampers. It comes with its original company plain paper sleeve.

Vinyl: There are some mild, very mild or more moderate sleeve rubs which can only be seen under a strong light. The sleeve, over time, has left some light, mild or more moderate dull surface marks on some areas. There are two light surface hairline marks, These measure 0.5 cm and 1 cm in length. Overall, Very Good condition. The labels are in Near Excellent condition & show mild spindle wear only. The company plain paper sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits.

I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays Very Good to Very Good+ overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places.


4. The Wind Cries Mary/ Highway Chile (Track 604004 UK 7" 1967)

This is a UK original 7" pressing. It has smooth black & silver "Track" labels which have a 3 pronged centre. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has 1st press A-1/ B-1 matrix stampers. It comes with its original company plain paper sleeve.

Vinyl: There are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can only be seen under a strong light. The sleeve, over time, has left some light, mild or very mild dull surface marks on some areas. There is one light 3 cm surface hairline mark. Overall, A strong Very Good condition. The labels are in Near Excellent condition & show mild spindle wear only. The company plain paper sleeve is in Very Good++ condition. There is some light, very mild or very minor ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits.

I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays Very Good to Very Good+ overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places.


5. Burning Of The Midnight Lamp/ The Stars That Play With Laughing Sam's Dice (Track 604007 UK 7" 1967)

This is a UK original 7" pressing. It has smooth black & silver "Track" labels which have a 3 pronged centre. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has 1st press A-1/ B-1 matrix stampers. It comes with its original company plain paper sleeve.

Vinyl: There are a few light, very mild or very minor sleeve rubs which can hardly be seen under a strong light. There is one mild 2 cm surface hairline mark. There is one very light 1 cm surface hairline mark. The sleeve, over time, has left some light, very mild or very minor dull surface marks on a few areas. These, again, can hardly be seen under a strong light. Overall, Very Good+ condition. The labels are in Excellent condition & show light or very mild spindle wear only. The company plain paper sleeve is in Very Good++ condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear & fading. There are no seam splits.

I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays Very Good+ to Near Excellent overall. There is some light, very mild or very minor crackle in some quieter places.


6. Voodoo Chile/ Hey Joe/ All Along The Watchtower (Track 2095 001 UK 7" 1970)

UK Picture Sleeve 1st pressing. The picture sleeve is printed on thick semi-buff card. This is side opening. There is a flipback at the top & bottom of the rear sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has black & silver "Track" labels. These have a large centre hole. It has its original removable plastic 3 pronged centre. The record has 1st press A-1/ B-1 matrix stampers.

Sleeve: There is some mild to more moderate rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is light, mild or very mild rubbing wear on the sleeve opening edges on some areas. There is light, mild or very mild ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits. Overall, Very Good+ condition

Vinyl: There are a few light or very minor sleeve rubs which can barely be seen under a strong light. The sleeve, over time, has left some light, very mild or very minor dull surface marks on some areas. These can only be seen under a strong light. Overall, Excellent condition. The labels are in Excellent+ condition & show minimal wear.

I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays Excellent overall. There is some light or very minor crackle in a few quieter places.


7. Voodoo Chile/ Hey Joe/ All Along The Watchtower (Track 2095 001 UK 7" 1970)

1970 UK Picture Sleeve  pressing. The picture sleeve has a white border. It is printed on paper & is side opening. There is a flipback at the top & spine area of the rear sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has black & silver "Track" labels. These have a large centre hole. It has its original removable plastic 3 pronged centre. The record has 1st press A-1/ B-1 matrix stampers.

Sleeve: There is some light or very mild fading to the white areas of the sleeve. There is some light, mild or more moderate ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits. Overall, a strong Very Good condition

Vinyl: There are a few light, very mild or very minor sleeve rubs which can hardly be seen under a strong light. The sleeve, over time, has left some light, very mild or very minor dull surface marks on some areas. These, again, can only be seen under a strong light. Overall, Very Near Excellent condition. The labels are in Excellent+ condition & show minimal wear.

I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays Very Good+ to Near Excellent overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places.


8. Johnny B. Goode/ Little Wing (Polydor 2001-277 UK 7" 1971)

UK 1st pressing. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has red "Polydor" labels. These have a large centre hole & comes with its original 3 pronged removable centre. The record has A-1/ B-1 matrix stampers. It has its original "Polydor" company paper sleeve.

Vinyl: There are mild, more moderate to moderate sleeve rubs, or surface rub marks, which can be seen under a strong light. There are about 3 light surface hairline mark. These measure from 2 cm to 3 cm in length. Overall, Good condition. The labels are in Very Good condition. There is a small sticker stain on the A-side label. There is some light, very mild or very minor foxing on some areas. This hardly notices. The company paper sleeve is in Very Good condition. There is some light, mild or more moderate ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits.

I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays Good+ to Very Good overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in the background to a varying degree. This is only noticeable in the quieter places. 


9. Jimi Hendrix "Rolling Stone" Flexi (Red House/ Spanish Castle Magic) (SF1 1572 UK One Sided Flexi 7" Single 1973) UK original Flexi 7" single. Originally a covermount single for the "Rollingg Stone" magazine in 1973. The magazine is not included.  As stated, this single in one sided only. It comes with a period polythene-lined plain card sleeve.

Condition: There are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can hardly be seen under a strong light. The sleeve, over time, has left some light, very mild or very minor dull surface marks on some areas. These, again, can hardly be seen under a strong light. Overall, Near Excellent condition. The card outer sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. There is some light or very mild ringwear & fading. 

I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays very well overall. There is some light or very mild crackle in some quieter places.
