Beach Boys Party! 1965 Duophonic Capitol Rainbow Label VG+.
Cover: VG+ Solid all the way except very tops of gatefold (front end top has a .75 inch paper loss spot and the back end top has 1.25 paper loss spot. See photos).Scuffing is minimal for a 1965 sleeve. Very minimal beginnings of ringwear on front sleeve, more pronounced on the back sleeve top and bottom. Inside gatefold is nice, some minor age spots at the center sections (where the straws in the drink are).
Disc: Visually-a VG as there are 10 or so non feelable marks on each side, plenty of gloss left. Audio-VG+. Plays great. As most of you will know, there are no silent breaks during the entire album, so the only quiet parts are at the Outer Groove and Inner Groove. At the needle drops at the outer grooves on Side 1 and Side 2 (after the dead wax),the crackle level is a 2-3 out of 10 (10 being the worst).And after the music starts, there are 1-2 crackles initially and it's over after that when the full volume kicks in. So, a surprisingly great playing record( in spite of the visual appearance under bright light) all the way through.
