FOUR TOPS
SIDE A: BUSCAME Y ME ENCONTRARAS
(Reach Out I’ll Be There)
SIDE B: HASTA QUE TE ENAMORES DE ALGUIEN
(Until You Love Someone)
MEGARARE and Hard-To-Find original very first Tamla Motown Mono press released by Tamla Motown Records, made and distributed in Chile in 1967 by Corporación De Radio De Chile S.A. (CRC Records), licensed from Motown Record Corporation, USA, catalog number M-1098, with hand etched matrix numbers M-1098-A AA in Side A and M-1098-B AA in Side B, with yellow/black Tamla Motown Records labels and 3-prong push-out center. Yes, Sirs, ANOTHER FIND from Chile!!!
“Reach Out I’ll Be There” was originally released in August 1966 in USA and we had to wait until 1967 to see this classic hit of the Four Tops released here in Chile. If you know this single you will have already noticed that in Chile we got the same US catalog number but in Chile we got it with yellow Tamla Motown labels as you can see and compare in this link: . Song titles are written in Spanish, translated to English, with full credits for songwriters and additional “GO-GO” as style of music and information about licenses. WOW!!! A MUST TO HAVE for all fans, lovers and collectors of the Four Tops and Motown, a record with unusual yellow/black Tamla Motown labels and push-out center almost never seen!!!
This record doesn’t have a cover. The record is in nice VG+ or EX- condition both sides, glossy and clean, with soft scuffs, hairlines and some very light scratches, hard to see at first sight, with a mark in Side A and a very slight warp, hard to notice, which of course don’t affect play at all. Labels are in nice EX or EX+ condition both sides, clear and clean, with only some spindle hole wear, very faint age browning and the push-out center intact. The sound is in strong EX or EX+ condition the both sides, loud, clear and clean, virtually no background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), with some very soft and barely audible constant crackles, more evident in the last seconds of each song, which of course don’t cause any distraction from the loud and clear sound this record keeps from the beginning to the end. Overall, this is a great record in this MEGARARE PRESS, with still a great look, almost immaculate labels and still amazing sound quality after about 56 years, which shouldn’t disappoint anyone!!! And don’t forget this MEGARARE PRESS almost never surfaces and “Reach Out I’ll Be There” with yellow Tamla Motown labels is almost never seen!!! Yes, Sirs, what a FIND!!! Click on the pictures to enlarge and see the labels and cover in detail. WOW!!!
Bid with confidence and don’t wait until the last second because you could lose the chance to get a real collectable record from Chile (South America) in superb condition like this copy is. You know South American records aren’t easy to get in good conditions, so HAPPY BIDDING and don’t let this record to go away… you could never see a so good copy of this record again… if you are lucky enough to see even another copy again…
Thanks for watching and bidding, good luck and best regards from Chile
_________________________________________________________
We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.
MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.
NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like
new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only
some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the
sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or
poster are in like perfect condition.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there
is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which
doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or
creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays
no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and
the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra
items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has
noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The
cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits,
discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for
properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface
noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

FEEDBACK
We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive a positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.
