JULIO JARAMILLO
With Rosalino Quintero Y Su Conjunto
SIDE A: TU PALIDA VOZ
SIDE B: PRISIONERO DE TUS PUPILAS
WOW!!! WOW!!! WOW!!! MEGARARE and Hard-To-Find original Sono Radio Records very first Mono press released, made and distributed in Perú by Industrial Sono-Radio S.A. (Sono Radio Records) in 195?, catalog number 2532, with hand etched matrix numbers 2532-A-45 VR in Side A and 2532-B-45 VR in Side B, with traditional maroon/silver Sono Radio Records labels of the period and large center. Yes, Sirs, ANOTHER FIND from South America!!!
“Tu Pálida Voz” was originally released in the ‘60’s but just like most of the Peruvian singles of the period the exact year of release seems to be a mystery and this copy of this MEGARARE PRESS isn’t an exception, but it should be from the ‘50’s. In labels the song titles are written in Spanish only, with full credits for songwriters and additional information about the style of music of each song, “Vals” the song “Tu Pálida Voz” and “Pasillo” the song “Prisionero De Tus Pupilas”, and for the company which did the original recording, Onix Records, Ecuador. So, here you have the chance to get and own this MEGARARE PRESS of this rare single by Julio Jaramillo, considered one of the most important Ecuadorian singers of all times, accompanied by guitarist Rosalino Quintero and his band, and RELEASED ONLY IN PERU!!! WOW!!! A MUST TO HAVE for all fans, lovers and collectors of Julio Jaramillo and Latin Soul/Bolero music, a record almost never seen and maybe now auctioned here in eBay by the very first time!!!
This record doesn’t come with a cover. The record is in VG- or VG condition both sides, glossy and clean, with loads and loads of scuffs, hairlines and very light scratches, with a very slight warp, which don’t affect play at all. Labels are in VG or VG+ condition both sides, clear and clean, with moderate spindle hole wear, more evident in Side B, with faint discoloration and initials from some past owner in Side A. The sound is in strong VG or VG+ condition both sides, loud, clear and clean, with a soft background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), with constant soft crackles and some occasional light clicks, more evident at the last seconds of each song, which don’t really cause major distraction from the loud and clear sound this record keeps from the beginning to the end. Overall, this is a great record in this MEGARARE ORIGINAL PERUVIAN VERY FIRST PRESS, maybe not for the strictest Minty minds or audiophiles, but sure still with a nice glossy look, clean and fully readable labels and a very decent and respectable sound quality after, maybe, about 60 or more years, which won’t disappoint anyone!!! Yes, Sirs, what a FIND!!! Click on the pictures to enlarge and see the labels and cover in detail. WOW!!!
Bid with confidence and don’t wait until the last second because you could lose the chance to get a real collectable record from Chile (South America) in superb condition like this copy is. You know South American records aren’t easy to get in good conditions, so HAPPY BIDDING and don’t let this record to go away… you could never see a so good copy of this record again… if you are lucky enough to see even another copy again…
Thanks for watching and bidding, good luck and best regards from Chile
____________________________________________
We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.
MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.
NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like
new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only
some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the
sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or
poster are in like perfect condition.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there
is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which
doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or
creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays
no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and
the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra
items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has
noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The
cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits,
discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for
properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface
noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

FEEDBACK
We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive a positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.
