UK R & B misfits David John & The Mood from Preston, Lancashire only issued 3 45s in their brief lifespan ('63-'66), and sadly they disappeared pretty much without trace at the time, being small fish in a very crowded pond. As is often the case, though, down the decades their work has come to be held in VERY high regard, particularly the 4 sides they cut with legendary/infamous producer Joe Meek in 1965, and subsequently issued on 2 Parlophone 45s.
