1961 ORIGINAL "BARBIE SINGS!" DEMONSTRATION ALBUM
In 1961, Mattel released "Barbie Sings!," a collection of three 45RPM records (six songs total). I have depicted in the photos an example of that album cover. For further information about the musical contents of the album, go to https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Music/BarbieSings.
The auction item here is a promotional version, a 33-1/3RPM one-record album sent only to dealers and not available to the general public. Mattel encased the record in a sleeve and protected it with cardboard for shipping. I cannot display photographs of the actual contents without opening the sealed envelope (which I am not about to do!).
