So here it is: the definitive version of a Jennifer Warnes' masterpiece, “The Well” - a 3-LP 180-Gram audiophile vinyl box set.

It is an IMPEX Limited Edition of 6,000 copies worldwide, lovingly packaged and annotated in a sumptuous wooden crate design, this is the absolute Holy Grail for Jennifer Warnes fans.

Supervised by the artist herself and mastered by Bernie Grundman from Jennifer's original analogue master tapes,this is the ultimate edition of “The Well” that will ever be released. This copy is Limited Edition Number 1663.

Jennifer Warnes became a household name in the '70s with her hit "Right Time of the Night", and also saw chart success with “Up Where We Belong” her memorable soundtrack duet with Joe Cocker, from the star-studded movie, “An Officer and A Gentleman”.

Most people have missed Jennifer’s other superlative solo work, notably her wonderful cover-versions’ album of Leonard Cohen songs “Famous Blue Raincoat” and her follow-up, “The Hunter”. Both are stupendous vocal performances with a stellar studio ensemble, recorded to reference-level audio standards. Maybe you can tell, I’m a dedicated Jennifer Warnes fan!

“The Well” continued her wonderful sequence of album releases. Originally released in 2001, "The Well" was co-produced by Jennifer with Martin Davich. The all-tube mastering is by Bernie Grundman, personally supervised by Jennifer for this very special audiophile 45 rpm release.

 There is a stellar studio cast again on this superbly-crafted and wonderfully arranged cross-genre set, musicians including Doyle Bramhall II, Dean Parks, Vinnie Colaiuta; Alex Acuna, Arlo Guthrie, Greg Leisz, Lee Sklar, Abe Laboriel, Blondie Chaplin and Lee Thornburg,

She surely rivals the likes of Joni Mitchell, Linda Ronstadt and Bonnie Raitt within those select female artistes who most perfectly convey the emotion and meaning in the lyrics they sing for us.

Spread across six vinyl sides, devoted audiophile fans will be enraptured by this lovingly produced and lavishly presented epic, packaged in a custom wood box with 12-page large-format booklet which includes notes from Jennifer, complete lyrics and an illuminating article by Brad Buccholz plus and a deluxe insert print. The Custom wood box has updated artwork and an individually-numbered gold plaque.

The set includes the bonus tracks from Impex Records' new 24-Karat Gold CD version of this album, plus an amazing new recording of Bob Dylan's ''Born In Time''that marks a graceful coda to Ms. Warnes' examination of love and loss in uncertain times and places.
