An illustrated guide to authenticating genuine Elvis Presley Sun Record Company 45rpm recordings from 1954 to 1955. Catalogue numbers Sun 209, 210, 215, 217 and 223 - "That's All Right, Good Rockin' Tonight, Milkcow Blues Boogie, Baby, Let's Play House and Mystery Train" - together with  their flip sides.

This is the only reliable guide to distinguishing between the genuine Sun pressings and the fakes/ counterfeits etc. Included is information on delta pressings, push marks, differences between the Memphis, Philadelphia (east coast), and Los Angeles (west coast) pressings, the variations/misprints of the labels of genuine Sun pressings, and the correct dead wax etchings, the triangle mark and the significance of the MSI etching.

NOTE - This guide will also tell you why there are NO push marks on certain genuine pressings which can mistakenly lead some people to wrongly identify them as fakes.

The guide is now extended to cover the authenticity and information on the very first re-issues of the Sun recordings on the RCA Victor label in December 1955, which predated the issue of Heartbreak Hotel in January 1956. Also the first two, 1953 "demo" 78rpm shellac discs Presley recorded at Sun studios prior to "That's All Right". There is also a postscript on how to pack 78rpms for safe and intact delivery - an inexpensive and tried and tested method that has worked successfully for me for years.

Premium white A4 text and graphics paper, this is a home printed document compiled and authored by myself, and presented as a small spine clipped booklet. 31 pages.
