Pink Floyd---Dark Side Of The Moon---Half Speed Mastered Audiophile Recording---VG+
You'll notice a "First" sticker on the record label on Side One. My brother told me about this decades ago and I can't remember exactly if it was an anti-static or what system but I seem to remember that there were 2 stages to it. This is the second Pink Floyd LP that I listed today that my brother treated with "First".
I played both sides of this LP and the vinyl played excellently...except slight surface noise at the very beginning on Side One during the "heartbeat" and in several other "quiet passages". The sound is incredible overall. There are no scuffs, scratches, smudges, etc.
Because of this I've listed the vinyl as VG even though most sellers would list it as M- on their visual inspection. I won't list M- on even an absolutely "Perfect" LP which to me would be VG++.
Vinyl---VG Cover---VG---(only because there is slight wear but no splits, etc.) Record Labels---G+---(I've included the LP labels because of the circular "stain" probably caused by the "First" sticker but the Side 2 label also has a lesser circular stain and there is no sticker on it. Check photos.
My opening bid will be very LOW for this LP but that doesn't mean it's horrible. It's just not "Perfect".
Another from my brother's collection that I never played till just now.
THANKS FOR LOOKING AND GOOD LUCK!!!
My grading system: There is No Mint or Mint- in my grading. Nothing is perfect in this reality so VG+ is as high as I go.
That means that you just bought this LP and opened it without playing it!.
Sealed---Basically unknown condition until you open it. VG+---No damage, no smudges and perfect sound. (I'm adding VG++ for exceptional condition LPs) VG---Maybe slight surface noise but still "like new". G---A playable LP with surface noise, some pops but no skips and worthy of a serious collection. G-/---Basically the same as G but RARE and will only be listed when playable without distortion.
The same grading will go for Covers and inserts and will be described in detail.
I ship and leave positive feedback the same day the auction ends as long as the Post Office is open.
I ship most LPs Media Mail to keep costs down but may upgrade to Priority at my cost depending on various factors.
I have to add a note: I'm getting a lot of offers to less than my opening bid but this LP is not GARBAGE! I'm super critical when I describe my LPs and the labels are not "pretty" and like a lot of MFSLs there is slight surface noise in quiet passages. These LPs I've been listing haven't been played in well over 20 years so a few plays may even "polish" the LP or a cleaning may help. The vinyl is spotless with no scuffs, scratches or smudges.
