The Doors Self Titled 1970 First Pressing Elektra Hidden Gem 74007.
Up for sale is a hidden gem in my collection. This is a 1970 Monarch Pressing Reissue of the Doors self titled 1967 LP with the red labels. It contains such hits as Break On Through, Soul Kitchen, Back Door Man, and the apocryphal classic The End.
The outer cover shows some wear (see pictures) as expected, including imprints like a doodle of a bottle of Ripple Wine (see pictures) , and paper sleeve in good shape. The vinyl disc itself is in EXcellent condition. It shows only minor wear and retains its quality superbly.
The runout is etched EKS-74007A-1A G CRP marking it as first press of first cutting for the reissue.
