Beatles 45’s 4-Lot 1971 Apple All Los Angeles, All EX/ NM!

I can’t test-play vinyl at the minute, so with that said…

 

Lot of four extremely nice Beatles 45’s from the 1971 reissued catalogue, all four are so very close to store stock NM condition.  “Mfd. By Apple Records, Inc. disclaimer is at the bottom of the Side 1 label only.  All dead wax has the machine-stamped asterisk, making these records pressed in Los Angeles.

1.  And I Love Her/ If I Fell

Sleeve:  EX.  Light wear, NO SPLITS.

Vinyl: NM.  VERY close to store stock new.

Labels: NM/ EX.  Side 2 label has some dirtwear.

Plates: G2/ F1.

 

2.  Lady Madonna/ The Inner Light

Sleeve: “The Beatles on Apple,” VG+.  Moderate wear and finger divots, NO SPLITS.

Vinyl: NM/ EX.  Scrutinize Side 2 for a few extremely light, extremely short angel hairs.  Vinyl looks store stock new.

Labels: NM/ NM.

Plates: F7/ F7.

 

3.  Ticket to Ride/ Yes It Is

Sleeve:  VG+.  Light to moderate wear, NO SPLITS.

Vinyl: NM/ NM.  Store stock brand new condition.

Labels: NM/ NM.  Store stock brand new condition.

Plates: G6/ G6.

 

4.  I’ll Cry Instead/ I’m Happy Just to Dance with You

Sleeve:  VG.  Moderate wear, NO SPLITS.

Vinyl: VG+/ EX.  A few very light hairlines per side.  Side 1 has one light scuff that is visible with the naked eye, but not feelable with the naked fingertip.

Labels: VG/ VG.  Writing and wear to both labels.

Plates: G2/ G2.

A very nice collection of keepers!

 

 

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

 

Note:  All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
