This ultra-rare Pink Floyd "The Wall" LP is a must-have for any serious vinyl record collector. With “DEMONSTRATION NOT FOR SALE” record labels and a timing strip, this LP is a true gem for any Pink Floyd fan. Released in 1979 by Columbia Records USA for disc jockeys only, this particular version is extremely hard to find. The jacket is in Very Good plus condition with no seam splits and a nice readable spine, but there is a tiny bit of writing that the DJ noted on 2 songs on the timing strip that were ‘not to be played’. Both factory inner sleeves are included but have tape on the seams plus a small bit of writing on a couple of songs that the DJ marked as NOT TO BE PLAYED ON THE AIR. The inner sleeves grade Very Good minus condition. The records have a fair amount of scuffs and scratches with noticeable background crackle through most of the album, therefore we grade the vinyl Very Good to Very Good minus condition. Most dealers would grade these records as VG but we like to be a bit conservative to avoid any disappointment with our customers.
