Up for sale is an original vinyl pressing of The Magnificent Thad Jones on the Blue Note label. I've done my research and this appears to be an original first pressing from 1956. Lexington address on labels, "P" earmark is there, but only visible on side 2 of the deadwax. "Framed" cover. Flat edge on the vinyl. "9M" on both sides in the deadwax. Vinyl is not in the best of shape but has been cleaned and play tested. There is surface noise throughout with louder pops here and there. Some distortion on the highs at times. No skips on my playthrough with a nearly new stylus. I was still able to enjoy the listen. Side 2 plays a bit quieter than side 1. The cover has a nearly full seam split on the bottom and some corner wear. Otherwise, it looks pretty good with a small stain on the front and overall wear. I've included many photos that will help show condition.
