The Beatles - Help!
(Parlophone PMC 1255 UK LP 1965)
This is a UK original Mono LP pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve which is printed by "Garrod & Lofthouse". It has an outlined mid sized "Mono" on the front. It comes with its original tracing-paper lined "Emitex" company inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has yellow & black "Parlophone" labels. They have "The Gramophone Co. Ltd..."and "Sold in UK..." texts. It has a "KT" tax code embossed around the spindle hole on Side 2's label. The record has XEX 549-2 and XEX 550-2 matrix numbers. The mother stampers are GDR 7 (with a 10 underneath) and GRP 1 (with an 8 underneath) respectively.
I have some other rare & collectable 1960's and 1970's UK original Rock. Folk, Blues etc... LP's for sale too. This includes some other "Beatles" LP's. So please see my other listings.
Sleeve: There is mild or more moderate rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is mild to more moderate fading to the rear sleeve. There is light, very mild or very minor fingert tip staining on the rear sleeve on some areas. There is some light, mild or more moderate rubbing wear on the sleeve opening edges on some areas. There is a more moderate 1.5 cm hairline crease at the centre spine area. This goes through the front & rear sleeve. There are a couple of much smaller creases below this crease too. Otherwise, the spine is okay. There is light, mild or very mild ringwear on some areas. Overall, Very Good minus condition
Vinyl: There is a very mild 10 cm hairline surface mark that goes across Side 1. Otherwise, there are some light, mild, more moderate or moderate sleeve rubs, or surface rub marks, which can be seen under a strong light. The inner sleeve, over time, has left light, mild, very mild or very minor dull surface marks on some areas. These, again, can only be seen under a strong light. Overall, Very Good minus condition. The labels are in Near Excellent condition & show mild to more moderate spindle wear only. The Emitex company inner sleeve is in Very Good minus condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear & creasing. There is mild to more moderate fading. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays Very Good overall & Very Good+ in many places. There is some light, mild, very mild or very minor crackle noticeable in some quieter places. There are a few areas of more moderate crackle on Side 2. These do not last too long. There are a couple of mild clicks on two separate tracks on Side 2. Overall, a very serviceable audio copy!
Traceable insurance is already included in the stated P&P price for this listing.
