The Beatles - Revolver
(Parlophone PMC 7009 UK LP 1966)
This is a UK original 1966 Mono LP pressing in very reasonable overall condition. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve which is printed by "E.J. Day". It comes with its original generic company plain paper inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has yellow & black "Parlophone" labels. They have "The Gramophone Co. Ltd..."and "Sold in UK..." texts. The record has 1st press XEX 605-2 and XEX 606-3 matrix numbers. The mother stampers are HO 1 and GP 1 respectively. Both the sleeve and Side 2's label state "Dr. Robert".
I have some other rare & collectable 1960's & 1970's UK Original Rock, Folk and Blues LP's for sale. This includes some other "Beatles" LP's and 7" Singles. So please see my other listings.
Sleeve: There is mild, very mild or more moderate rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is light, mild or more moderate rubbing wear on the sleeve opening edges on some areas. This is not too noticeable. There is a small 1 cm hairline crease/ tear at the bottom edge, below George's lips, that goes through the sleeve slightly. There is a very mild 9 cm crease that goes through the sleeve to a varying degree. This is only really noticeable on the front sleeve. There is some very mild fading to the "white" of the front sleeve. There is a tiny 0.5 cm area of more moderate rubbing wear at the centre of the spine. There are about 5 small & light hairline creases at the spine area. These measure approximately between 1 cm and 2 cm in length. Otherwise, the spine is fine. The spine text is clearly legible. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear on some areas. Overall, a strong Very Good condition
Vinyl: There is a long (10 cm), mild to more moderate hairline surface mark that goes across Side 2. There are 4 or 5 light or very minor hairline surface marks on Side 1. These measure from 2 cm to 5 cm in length. There are some light, mild, very mild or more moderate sleeve rubs, or surface rub marks, which can only be seen under a strong light. The inner sleeve, over time, has left some light, very mild or very minor dull surface marks on some areas. These can hardly be seen under a strong light. Overall, Good++ condition. Not too far from being in Very Good condition. The labels are in Near Excellent condition & show mild or more moderate spindle wear only. The company paper inner sleeve is in Very Good++ condition. There is some light, very mild or very minor ringwear & fading. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays Very Good to Very Good+ overall & Near Excellent in some places. There is some light, mild, very mild or very minor crackle in some quieter places. Overall, a very reasonable audio copy.
