PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
Diamond Life lot on vinyl!
1) Diamond Life LP - RARE original Herb Powers, Jr. mastered Carrollton first pressing from July 16, 1984 on Portrait with Frankford/Wayne Mastering dead wax stamp, original four-song hype sticker in the top right hand corner on the front cover and printed inner sleeve!!! LP is a beautiful VG++/NM-. Cover is still in the original shrink wrap. Even has the original Metro Music (R.I.P.) sticker in the bottom right hand corner on the rear cover. An absolute high grade copy of this stone classic quiet storm masterpiece with impeccable provenance. This is what collecting is about. You will not be disappointed.
2) Smooth Operator 45 - rare Herb Powers, Jr. mastered Carrolton styrene pressing on Portrait from February, 1985 with Spirit on the B-side!!! Vinyl is VG++. Sleeve is VG+ with some light wear at the opening on top.
3) Hang On To Your Love 45 - rare Herb Powers. Jr. mastered Pitman pressing from 1984 on Portrait with Robin Millar credit on the labels and sleeve and Cherry Pie on the B-side!!! Vinyl is VG++ with a few barely visible paper scuffs. Sleeve is VG with some wear at the opening on top.
4) Smooth Operator/Hang On To Your Love 45 - rare double A-side pressing on Epic's Hall Of Fame grey label from 1988 in the original sleeve with Robin Millar's name misspelt as Robin Miller!!! Vinyl is VG+/VG++ with a few light paper scuffs on the B-side.
Buying all four items in this lot individually would cost $20.00 in shipping ALONE so don't sleep.
I USE GOLDMINE GRADING~ MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS
GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
