Recently inherited from a family member. Fabulous chance to own this super rare first press of one of the greatest rock albums of all time with the solid blue triangle centre label. PLEASE read full details below before bidding.
Generally an Excellent copy of this rare first UK pressing of Pink Floyds Dark Side Of The Moon from 1973 complete with both posters, two stickers and original black poly lined inner sleeve with text.
CONDITION
A Side.
Vinyl Side A is generally in Excellent Minus condition. Only noticeable interruptions are some crackle to the first track followed by 3 small ticks, appears to be some light marks in this area under the right light which I have tried to photograph but the album plays well, light background crackle in quieter parts and the odd light pop etc other than than the above mentioned.
B Side
Side B plays Excellent all the way through with minimum light crackle. Really nice listen.
LABELS
Labels are clean with some light spindle trails to both sides.
SLEEVE
Midnight blue sleeve is generally Excellent, some light edge wear, very light fading etc. Both posters are Excellent, no blu tac marks, posters seem to have been kept inside the sleeve their whole life. Correct Catalogue number bottom right hand side of ‘band’ poster for 1973 pressings.
INNERS
Both original stickers have a crease where they slipped into the gatefold fold inside for many years as pictured. Both have red the first press 'Permanent' text to rear.
Original black inner sleeve with silver patent pending numbers and Made In Great Britain text.
