PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
RARE Eddy Schreyer mastered Jacksonville pressing from 198? on Capitol with G-6/G-12 matrix suffixes etched in the dead wax, respectively, on sides one and two!!! LP is easily VG, close to VG+, with some light scuffs. Cover is VG with small initials in the bottom right hand corner on the rear. Maiden's best LP in this 56 year old collector's never humble opinion. I bought this album based simply on the cover image when I saw it advertised in Circus magazine upon release in 1981 and it was everything I hoped it would be when I got it home, dropped the needle and the opening strains of The Ides Of March came blasting out of the speakers. When it segued into the explosive Wrathchild I was hooked for life. As much as I love the Bruce Dickinson material, this was the LP that absolutely defined Maiden for me.
I USE GOLDMINE GRADING~ MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS
GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
