LP Grading:
-----------
Mint:                    Record is still sealed.

NM (Near Mint):  There are no signs that the record has ever been played.

EX or VG++:       Looks like the record has hardly been played.  There may be a couple of "Scuff Marks" present, which are inaudible.

VG+:                   Looks like the record has been very well taken care of.  There may be spindle marks on the label. There may be
multiple scuffs and small scratches, both inaudible on the LP.  Groove wear (a fuzzy sound) should not be noticeable.
Any warping or an off centered hole should not affect playback.

VG:                     Some of the Scratches on the album will be heard as a lite tic (you may be able to feel these with your fingernail).
Groove wear will be audibly noticeable.  Background noise will be more noticeable during soft passages. Mores Scuffs
and small scratches will be present.

G+:                     Scratches, Groove Wear, Warping and background noise may be moderate & sound intrusive to some people.

G:                       Any Scratches, Groove Wear, Warping and background noise may be heavy & sound intrusive to most people.

Fair:                    Skips or repeats will be present.  Slight crack may be present.

Poor:                  Record is unplayable.  Only good for use in artwork.

What is a Scuff Mark?:  The mark does not break through the edges of the groove, thus no noise is produced when the stylus passes over the Mark.

What does an Ultrasonic Cleaning Machine do?:  The exploding micro bubbles get deep into the grooves of the record and take off the oils, smoke residue, and any stuck dirt.  This reduces the background noise making listening even more enjoyable.
