M, Mint: An unopened, sealed record.
NM, Near Mint: Opened and likely played, no signs of wear, plays like new.EX, Excellent:
Close to like new with a few light scuffs or
smudges which do not affect sound quality.
and possible light background noise.
VG, Very Good: Medium wear, scuffs or scratches and some noticeable
surface noise. No major pops or skips. Still very listenable.
Background noise, pops and crackles can be expected.
P, Poor: Packing material.
I am not a professional grader this is just my best assessment.
