We bought these records together in a box in the Green Bay area. All records appear to be in mint/unplayed condition, but we didn't play test them all. They all come in their original Research Craft Company sleeves.

Research Craft was a Los Angeles, CA pressing plant, in operation from the 1940's until the early '80's. Known to have non-exclusively pressed for Bethlehem Records, Key Records, Chapel, Riverside Records, Russell Records, Canyon Records, Capitol Records and subsidiaries, and others (confirmed for pressings in the 1950s per Billboard Oct 1956).

The label is Avis, which only has 2 other releases we can find online, very obscure, based in Los Angeles CA. There is NO mention of this artist anywhere outside the Library of Congress copyright of these 2 original songs by Ver Bruggen, dated 1951, from West De Pere Wisconsin (a Green Bay suburb). 

We believe John may have passed away in the 1960s, but information is scarce. Both songs are very well done, one a snappy upbeat pop number, and the other more of a crooning ballad. These may be the only copies extant. A really nice add for any fellow Wisconsin music historians. We do not collect 78s.
