The second in Numero's series of peeks into the world of regional studios hones in on Mickey Rouse's Lowland operation out of Beaumont, Texas. Numero has painstakingly gone through every tape in the studio's archives, selecting the best of the best for this peerless compilation. The songs themselves run the gamut; southern boogie rock, CSNY clones, British blues thunder, garage-psych hangovers, Morricone-esque supper club instrumentals and yacht rock, are as threaded together in the way only a tightly-knit scene can be. From the ashes of a vibrant garage and stage band scene, the Lowland studio and its clientele were formed. Holed up in a run-down strip mall, groups like Mourning Sun, Insight Out, Sage, Sassy, Mother Lion, Hope, Circus, and Boot Hill tracked out hundreds of demos, most of which were put on the shelf and left to bake in the South East Texas heat. Until now.

SHIPPING TIME AND RETURN POLICY:

SHIPPING: we ship within 2 business days of payment most of the time (orders place over the weekend obviously won't be processed until the following Monday or (Tuesday for many US holidays).  We ship US MAIL, 1st class for cds, media mail for vinyl, and 1st class international for all overseas orders (large orders may require Priority Mail International), actual shipping time varies, often it is surprisingly quick. 

RETURNS: we generally do not accept returns except if something is not as described, and we take care to make sure everything fits our description.  Most of what we sell is not used but new-condition old stock, so it is rare that something is unsatisfactory.  Sometimes cds or LPs will have a "cut-out" slice or "promo punch" either in the corner or through the UPC code-- we will include this in the description if necessary.  If there is a problem with an item contact us and we will decide on what action to take.  We do NOT accept returns if you decide you simply don't like the item, or have buyer's remorse-- buy wisely, and ask questions if necessary.  Damage incurred during shipping should be brought up with the carrier, we try to box everything adequately, including using extra cardboard for protection.
