We pride ourselves on auctioning only the highest grade records and items, you will not see anything listed here below EX+ condition, unles the item is extremely rare. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.

We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.

We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status!  Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... PLEASE ENJOY THIS ITEM YOU ARE NOW LOOKING AT..

An outstanding 'ARCHIVED FROM NEW' example of this very collectable classic LP.  FEW PLAYS AND THE SLEEVE IS MAGNIFICENT!.

THE VINYL   MINT-   INCREDIBLE  CONDITION

As you can see, this vinyl is the highly prized 1st UK pressing with the //1 matrix numbers on each side, AND the etched matrix numbers too, confirming this is the very first pressing.

This first pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.

There are a few tiny light whisp lines and nothing else!  Clearly this LP has been archived for many many years..There are a couple of feint  hairlines & certainly no scratches of marks at all.

There are no visible spider lines around the spindle hole and the labels are the first matt petrol blue examples..again confirming this LP has clearly been stored away for decades.

The LP played magnificent and the sonic sound is really quite amazing..all the quiet passages are super and only the lightest of lead in static as you may expect. Easily as good as we have seen

OVERALL WE FEEL YOU WILL NOT SEE A BETTER EXAMPLE OF THIS CLASSIC LP

 

THE LABELS   EX+     Some dark spots around the centre hole, but no wear or damage

 

THE SLEEVE     MINT-   stunning!!!!!!!

Correct FLAT MATT Gatefold first issued earliest sleeve -Later sleeves were the typical glossier late 70s/80s design - this is straight out the box from 1977

Inside the gatefold it has the 'Heath Levy' credit on the bottom right side, and the creamier colour ink.

 This is in simply incredible condition, you will not see better than this we feel!

The edges are all super clean with only the feintest tip rub , all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition

NO WEAR OR WHITE MARKS TO THE BLACK RIM!

No powdery white ringwear or even ring press of any note, and all edges are super crisp. Some incredibly feint rub on the black rim of the back top edge-barely worth mentioning!

There are no spider lines anywhere of any note either.

The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition with barely a hint of handling

The open out of the gatefold is simply perfect, no dulling, white rub or wear at all.

The spine edge is totally unmarked and all legends are perfect

THE GATEFOLD IS IMMACULATE AND DOES NOT FALL TOTALLY FLAT- AS GOOD AS WE HAVE EVER SEEN. THE CREAMY WHITE COLOURS ARE IMMACULATE

WE CLARIFY BY SAYING, THIS SLEEVE IS SIMPLY OUTSTANDING QUALITY.

    

THE INNER SLEEVE   MINT-  STRONG

Original black printed inner, only a couple of VERY minor little white rub spots on the bottom edge and the side-no scissoring, and overall this is as good as we have seen.

THE VINYL IS PROTECTED IN A FURTHER BLACK POLY LINED INNER
