Here, Nizipli Deli Mehmet ("Crazy Mehmet from Nizip") 

is joined by Tanburî Malatyali Fahri Kayahan who plays 

frenetically his custom-made, all-metallic instrument. 

Nizipli Mehmet Şenses shouts with his high-pitched voice 

one song in Tecnis, the other one in Dîvan style, the way 

he used to do when he was ploughing his fields miles 

from town - where he could be heard, as his 83 years old 

daughter told me. 

A photo of my encounter with her is shown here (but not 

part of this auction). The sheriff of Nizip holds the only

extant portrait of Deli Mehmet, a pencil drawing made for

Sahibinin Sesi (HMV).

We spot check every record on semi-professional equipment with a 3.0 mil spherical 
needle, using no noise reduction for grading. 
Grading scale for 78s according to VJM standards: N- E+  E  E- VG+ VG VG- G+

No packing charges. We sandwich your discs between several squares of stiff corrugated
cardboard, then use bubble wrap around and pack inside a sturdy record mailing box with
more padding material for safe transport.
