MINT (M): Perfect : Sealed and never opened

NEAR MINT (NM) : This record appears to be flawless with  very minor scuffs and very little else can appear on the record, it should play without any noise over the flaws.

EXCELLENT (EX) : Minor scuffs and small scratches which are barely visible. There may be more than a few scuffs and small scratches but it should play without any noise over the flaws.

VERY GOOD (VG) : Record shows surface scuffs and small scratch wear that is noticeable to the naked eye. The flaws may cause some surface noise. The record still has good luster. 

Sleeve Grade

MINT COVER - Cover has no wear, no stickers, no tears, or bends. Must look new

NEAR MINT - The cover looks as close to perfect with only minor signs of wear due to age.

EXCELLENT - Artwork is still great with vivid colors. May have minor ring wear but no writing on it.  May have slight creases and bends to the corners. The original plastic may be on the record still for protection.

VG - The artwork looks great with slightly more aging. The back of the cover will usually have more wear and shows the age of the record more so. No water marks or mildew. There may be some minor wear to the seams and spine of the cover but no tears or holes.

A plus (+)  following the condition indicate variations of the condition example VG+ is in slightly better condition than VG but not excellent.
