LABELS:                   Pristine dark “Greenish-Brown” labels with butterfly holding white stylize “E” at right.

Comments:                Extremely SCARCE LP to locate in very nice collectible condition.

COVER:                    VG++

Comments:                 Very clean “die-cut” silhouette cover for the issue, which displays sharp vivid colors with light edge/ring wear and a few minor surface creases (see photographs). There are No marks or writing, No seam splits, No cut out marks, and No discount holes or bar codes (very clean for the issue).

VINYL:                      VG++

Comments:                Glossy vinyl with a few minor rubs and several faint hairlines (No scratches) seen under bright light, from sliding in and out of the original inner sleeve. The vinyl plays beautifully throughout the recording!

INNER SLEEVE:    Original and correct “Yellow” customized ELEKTRA inner sleeve featuring “Jim Morrison” on a cross (which is actually a telephone pole!), which was used by the company at the time of release of this LP. The inner sleeve is in NrMT- condition with No major creasing and two very small seam splits, very clean!

Comments:                “First” pressing copies of this popular LP are extremely difficult to locate in collectible condition! LP features several classic DOORS songs including “Love Her Madly”, “LA Woman”, and “Riders on the Storm”.

I am very conservative with my grading.  There is NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE for multiple LPs won in the same auction cycle.  Payment is due within 72 hours of the end of the auction.  e-mail if you have any questions prior to placing a bid.  All of my LPs come with a protective poly album sleeve and will be shipped in a sturdy cardboard LP mailer, tightly wrapped in bubble wrap for added protection.

VG                  Moderate shelf wear, light to moderate ring wear

                        VINYL

MINT             Absolutely no marks on the vinyl surface, rarely used grade

NrMT+           Very faint rub or two with no surface marks

NrMT             No scratches or spindle marks – may have a few extremely faint, inaudible hairlines or a paper scuff seen only under very bright light

NrMT-            No scratches or spindle marks – may have a few light, inaudible hairlines seen under bright light from sliding in and out of the inner paper sleeve

VG+                No scratches, may have a spindle mark – light inaudible hairlines and/or paper scuffs will be present, which do not affect play or overall quality of the recording

VG                  May have a scratch deep enough to feel with a fingernail, but no skips – several hairlines and needle trails will be present which do not affect overall play
