NM = Near Mint: record and jacket appears in excellent condition - closer examination will show evidence of ownership - no ticks - no surface noise - full glossy surface - few spindle hole marks possible

M- = Mint-: record shows a surface marks from handling - bright and clean surface - no ticks - few spindle hole marks

Jacket without mechanical damage  light signs of usage

EX = Excellent: record shows a few scratches causing occasional ticks - bright and clean surface - spindle hole marks jacket with edge/ring wear - bended corners - stickers - cut-outs - mechanical defaults as described
