MEGA-RARE HARD TO FIND!
ORIGINAL 1970 RCA SP 8000 PROMOTIONAL SERIE STEREO/MONO PRESSING, CATALOG#. SP 8031, ITALY.
Well, this authentic monster shouldn't need any presentation for its glorious fame among Diggers and Record Collectors. One of the best soundtrack scores ever written and surely the winner masterpiece by maestro Piero Piccioni.
What is due to know and it's quite obscure, is that RCA SP serie records with normal cardboard sleeve like this one were all pressed on 200 copies, while the heavy cardboard sleeve releases (like "AL CINEMA CON PIERO PICCIONI" or "AL CINEMA CON PIERO UMILIANI") on 100 copies only.
Swirling mix of organ riffs, soulful tenor, and throbbing basslines. Some tracks burst out with a heavy groovy sound, while others hang back in a pensive Jazzy kind of way. This soundtrack will kill you such a bullet in stomach!
